DeltaSouth designed, installed and manages the public WiFi at Caney Creek RV Resort.

When campers drive their motorhomes into a RV campground, they want to connect to the utilities, relax and catch up on what’s going on in the world. You couldn’t do that at Caney Creek. The previous manager had read a few articles online, ordered some wireless equipment, and tried to make it work. After struggling with it for over 2 years, a new General Manager (Doug Phillips) decided to contact DeltaSouth to replace the existing solution and design and
install a new system.  DeltaSouth designed and deployed a wireless network which covers the entire resort. Utilizing 3 separate Comcast connections provides an excellent experience for the summer peak of 600+ campers.  It provides content filtering, limits guest bandwidth, and allows the resort to recoup its cost by charging its annual customers for wifi.

DeltaSouth designed, installed and manages the public WiFi at Waterside Marina.

Waterside Marina is lakeside living at its finest. With beautiful condos, a marina, and almost every amenity available, the visitors and residents at Waterside Marina had everything they ever wanted.  Except reliable wifi. The facilities IT staff had tried to deploy a wireless solution but it had poor coverage and went offline frequently.  DeltaSouth designed and deployed a wireless network which covers the entire marina, which is no small engineering feat. The network allows the public and residents to use their devices anywhere at the marina. It provides content filtering for family friendly internet, blocks illegal music and movie swapping, limits bandwidth, all while keeping individual devices safe.

DeltaSouth designed, installed and manages the public WiFi at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson.

Like most retailers, the sales staff at Smoky Mountain Harley-Davidson embrace technology in order to be more efficient and provide their customers with better service.  However, with individual standalone access points, different network names and spotty coverage, they were looking for something else.  In addition, they wanted to give their customers access to free wireless internet while protecting their own internal network.  DeltaSouth designed and deployed a wireless network which covers the showroom, warehouse, service area, shipping, the onsite restaurant (Stinkers BBQ) and outdoor concert area (The Shed).  The network allows the sales staff and customers to use their devices anywhere onsite, provides content filtering, and limits guest bandwidth, all while keeping the internal network and guest devices safe.

DeltaSouth designed, installed and manages the public WiFi at the Knoxville City County Building.

Like most municipalities, the staff of Knoxville County is forced each year to accept more work with the same or even less resources.  A request for public wifi had been in the works and upon receiving a grant, the Knoxville Public Building Authority issued an RFP for a vendor to design, install, and support wifi at the KCCB facility. The PBA had to ensure it met the Children’s Internet Protection Act (CIPA) and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).  DeltaSouth designed and deployed a wireless network which covers 3 floors of the KCCB at almost 70,000 square feet per floor.  The network allows attorneys, judges, employees, and the public to use their devices anywhere onsite.  It provides content filtering, blocks illegal music and movie swapping, and limits bandwidth, all while maintaining compliance stipulations and keeping individual devices safe.
