DeltaSouth designed, installed and manages the public WiFi at Caney Creek RV Resort.
When campers drive their motorhomes into a RV campground, they want to connect to the utilities, relax and catch up on what’s going on in the world. You couldn’t do that at Caney Creek. The previous manager had read a few articles online, ordered some wireless equipment, and tried to make it work. After struggling with it for over 2 years, a new General Manager (Doug Phillips) decided to contact DeltaSouth to replace the existing solution and design and
install a new system. DeltaSouth designed and deployed a wireless network which covers the entire resort. Utilizing 3 separate Comcast connections provides an excellent experience for the summer peak of 600+ campers. It provides content filtering, limits guest bandwidth, and allows the resort to recoup its cost by charging its annual customers for wifi.
